Joan Gaspar is an industrial designer who began designing lamps in the 1980s, working with Lluís Porqueras. Throughout his career, he has worked primarily in lighting design. His passion for design and deep knowledge of production techniques are an essential part of his way of working. He works from lighting product design, such as lamps, to everyday furniture with a unique design.
Aside from design, he combines his work with teaching at the Eina school, where he teaches Project Management, and with creative direction for Marset. Throughout his career, he has received several Delta awards, for the Atlas series in 2001 and for the Neón de Luz lamp in 2005, among others.
