The idea for the Nit table emerged from the use of the portable Tanit table at night outdoors. It's a lightweight side table with a self-contained light capsule, a useful concept for both home and contract projects. A circular surface floats on an illuminated skirt, integrating light neatly without taking up any real estate and providing minimal illumination for users to navigate around it. Composed of a circular top on a simple woven metal frame, it follows the same design as the Tanit lamps and the Helios wall light. To avoid total eclipse of the top, part of the capsule emerges above the surface to locate objects on the table.
