Japanese paper, metal. Lampampe is part of a series of simple lamps made of Japanese paper that Ingo Maurer developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In this design, he takes up the form of traditional lampshades while simultaneously creating a new aesthetic. The shades are handmade in our production facility in Munich. The paper generates a soft, completely glare-free light. The paper is slightly wrinkled as an intentional design element.
