The Gea collection takes its name from the primordial goddess, Mother Earth. The stylized lamps that comprise it resemble upright female figures that defy verticality, wrapped in a ribbed veil of painted stainless steel mesh that clings to their subtle curves. The Gea floor lamp, designed by Arturo Álvarez, features a zipper that allows the handmade mesh piece to be opened or closed. It emits a soft, enveloping light that is evenly distributed throughout the structure. The centerpiece of the collection, which won a Good Design Award in 2007, is the floor lamp, an elegant sculptural volume that blends into any setting, adding a touch of distinction.
