The GATCPAC lamp pays homage to the Catalan group of architects of the same name who sought to modernize the construction mentality of their time. Conceived as a lighting machine, the group's members left this lamp in their clients' interiors as a symbol of the modernity of their concepts, as if it were a collective signature.
