La Bohemia is a unique lamp. At first glance, one might think it's made of blown glass, but it isn't. Joan Gaspar designs a large pendant lamp with great luminous efficiency and very similar to glass. A difficult challenge, the designer achieves by using polycarbonate as the material.
This lamp displays an organic, non-boring, translucent profile that integrates two volumes into a single shape. The result is a large shade available in different colors—always white—that don't interfere with the interior, creating impeccable lighting without chromatic contamination.
When lit, it spreads white light downwards, while emitting nuances and shadows on the shade that enrich it formally. This interplay of light helps to clearly define the two volumes. La Bohemia is brilliant, striking, with exceptional light, and is intended to surprise anyone who looks at it.
