The Amisol project consists of a pendant lamp that occupies a large physical space with minimal volume, allowing for easy orientation. A translucent white film or metallized mirror membrane is stretched taut within a circular aluminum profile. Similar to a solar sail, an incredibly powerful light source projects a beam onto the large, almost weightless disk, which either diffuses or reflects the light. Thin rods connect the two main elements. By modifying the length and connection points of the two supporting cables, the disk's rotation can be adjusted to any angle.
