Václav Mlynár is a designer, creative director, and studio owner based in Prague. He has international experience studying and working in the Czech Republic, the United States, Denmark, and London. He earned his MA in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Between 2011 and 2020, Václav led the award-winning product design studio deFORM with Jakub Pollág.
In 2020, Václav focused on running his own product studios VM and his second spatial/interior architecture studio MONUMENT Office. Since 2017, he has served as creative director of the Bomma lighting brand and glass factory.
