Pagani Perversi Architects

Born in 1950, they graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic. In the mid-1980s they founded the associated studio Luciano Pagani and Angelo Perversi, which deals, in an integrated way– architecture, product design, lighting design. Among the most important works of the studio, at the level of architectural design: the Roman headquarters of the editorial office of La Repubblica; the Corriere della Sera offices (Milan and Rome); the headquarters of the Gazzetta dello Sport; the headquarters of the Italian branch of Hewlett-Packard. The particular attention of the studio to the link between architecture and light, architects to create numerous projects for art galleries, museums and public buildings. In terms of product design, the studio collaborates with many big names in international design. In the year 2000 they designed the Thor family for FontanaArte, based on the original arched diffuser in blown glass. They won 2 Compasso d'Oro, in 1987 and 1998. Since 1999 they are professors at the Milan Polytechnic in the Faculty of Architecture, a degree course in Industrial Design. Since 2000, the studio continues to collaborate with companies from the world of design.
