Luis Eslava studied at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, gained work experience at the Spanish contemporary footwear brand Camper, and spent time living in Japan. In 2008, he moved to Spain and founded his eponymous studio in Barcelona. Luis approaches design from a holistic perspective, convinced that a designer must be able to propose a wide range of solutions and rethink everyday life. Luis Eslava Studio has developed its expertise in lighting design through collaborations with various luminaire manufacturers, including LZF, for whom the studio designed the Agatha pendant light and the Paisley screen. The studio also has extensive experience in exhibition, gastronomy, and product design.
