Jason Miller is a Brooklyn-based designer and the founder of Roll & amp; Hill. Born in New York and raised in Darien, Connecticut, Jason's suburban upbringing influenced strongly in his early and more conceptual pieces & frac34; taped chairs and cracked vases, including & frac34; and continues to inform the elegant and historically rich work that has become his signature. Jason received an MFA in painting and passed He spent time in both the art world and the advertising world, but he soon realized that he preferred to do things rather than document them. His designs & frac34; like a mirror whose photographic surface evokes a painted landscape & frac34; still often reflects those early concerns, but each is a functional object, with some beauty and ingenuity. Currently, Jason directs both the Jason Miller Studio and Roll & amp; Hill from its headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
