Harri Koskinen is an industrial designer, having received several international awards. He has studied at the Helsinki Institute of Art and Design (now Aalto University). Koskinen designs for many different brands and companies, across many types of items; from the furniture to the lighting, as well as such as industrial electronics and commercial packaging. Koskinen founded his company Friends of Industry in 2000. Koskinen is probably best known for his block lamp, a light bulb held within two shaped pieces of molten glass. For Showroom Finland he has designed an architectural wooden lamp "Ristikko".
